When probation before judgment is granted, a person does not have a conviction on his or her record. However, if the conditions of the probation are violated, the probation is revoked and a conviction is entered. Also, if there was a suspended jail sentence or fine, such maybe imposed if the probation is violated.

Conditions of probation routinely included addiction treatment and education at the defendant's expense.
